I can't make a website without dedicating a section to my all time fave band Human Nature. I admit over the years my obsession has died down, I'm no longer a die-hard fan but I will still continue to support them fully. This is for all the HN fans that I've met over the years and for the ones that I'm beginning to know now. Enjoy!...

Here's Mike, Andrew, Phil and Toby ready to say g'day to fans and sign some stuff at the Melbourne Fanclub Meet&Greet session in 1999 (if my memory serves correctly).

Human Nature is undoubtedly Australia's most successful all male vocal group. Their career has span over a decade and will continue to flourish for years to come.

Mike Tierney (18/01/1977), Andrew Tierney (20/06/1974), Phil Burton (13/03/1974) and Toby Allen (08/08/1973) all met together at Hurlstone Agricultural Highschool in Sydney and through a common love of music they decided to perform a rendition of Earth Angel for the end of year school concert. This went so well that the guys stayed together as a group and began to do gigs around local bars and pubs, manning the name "The 4-Trax".

Nevertheless, the boyz got tired of singing over the tingle of poker machines so they decided to take one step further and performed live for Denis Handlin, CEO of Sony Records. Their a cappella version of "People Get Ready" was so moving that Denis gave em a record deal on the spot! How awesome was that! And the rest (as lots and lots of people have said when they tell this story) is history.....

Major highlights in HN's career:

- Released 4 albums and over 13 smash hits singles.
- Toured with Celine Dion, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, John Farnham and S Club 7.
- Guest acts in the Happy Days mega arena musical.
- Had their own national tour in 1997 and another one in 2000. They will tour nationally again in March 2002.
- Sang the Australian National Anthem for the opening of 2000 Sydney Olympics.
- Won several MO awards for excellence in live performance & the People's Choice Awards for "favourite group".
- Guest appearance in Aussie soap Neighbours.

There's heaps more stuff I can put down but I can't think of them all at the moment. But yeah, you get the idea of how versatile these guyz are in the entertainment industry.
