03/04/2004 Clubbing at Next Blue. Got a huge turn out this time.
Kath and Michael, Tram, Jam, Trang, Diem, Phuong, Thu Ha, Huu, Fook, Will, RH and Ashley etc. It was mad!!!! Danced like crazy
and spotted many hotties, even an Usher lookalike! A shout out to Thu Ha for the lovely bum dance and cheers to
Will for the lift. PS. Kevin Lyttle rocks
23/03/04 Kath and I went to our second
hip hop dance class and tried our best to do a bodyroll. The instructors were on fire today, doing all these complicated
moves to Jagged Edge, where we had to shake our hips and do these quick kung fu style actions with our arms. The guys all
looked a bit uncomfortable doing the ass shaking thing, how cute! The instructors kept encouraging us to be funky and homie
like, but all i could do was try not to collapse from exhaustion. 20 sweating ppl in one room with no fresh air is not a good
combo. Class ended and we checked out the guys from the Kung Fu class when they came to take over our room.
Discreetly, ofcourse.
22/03/04 Fell asleep in the lecture,
its so early on a monday morning, what did you expect? Kinda fell off onto the floor but lucky there was very few ppl sitting
on the balcony level where Duyen and I was. Duyen could not believe that I snoozed off and now she reckons im the biggest
slackass on earth hehe. I bet everyone does it. Should invest in those fake glasses where they have eyes drawn on them so
you can appear to be awake when ure actually sleeping.
21/03/04 Thanh drove me to Bao Quyen's
shop for the first RMIT VSA meeting. He asked if I could read the Melway Map and ofcourse, being the hopeless case that I
am, I couldnt and hence, we got lost for ages and went into so many dead end streets. If I only I had spatial abilities, dammit.
Huu and Trang rocked up at the same time we did and we all had a yummy dinner, thanks to Bao quyen's good cooking skills.
There was some serious talk about what weve got planned for the year ahead before Huu drove me and Trang home. Yes, Huu can
actually drive now and hes pretty good too so take advantage of him ladies! hehe, sorry huu.
20/03/04 Dammit,
only had 5 hours sleep and then woke up to go driving lesson. I was still in twilight zone and my hair was like a birds nest
once again. The lack of sleep showed in driving skill as i swerved across the roads trying to stay awake. Not good. After
driving, went home to catch 10 minutes power nap before getting up to get ready to meet the girls. Met up with Lizzie, Steph
H,Tina, Diem and Kath at Village to watch Girl With a Pearl Earring. It was alrite, the book was kinda better. Man, the Pieter
in the movie reminds me of a weird ass elf. Tina says hes the perfect guy for me cos I dressed up as an elf for muck
up day.HEHE, NO WAY teenos. anyway, then we met up with Thu Ha and Sylv for a huge catch up session at Crowns. Girl
talks are one of the best things in life! You must try it, even if you are a guy.
19/03/04 Planned to go to Heat with Phuong,
Sarah, Jess, Trang, Jam, Kath, BJ and Patrick. However, after much waiting around we decided to stuff Heat and go to a free
nightclub instead, Tunnel. Jess and Sarah pulled out and was replaced by Jackie and Michael. Later, we all strutted into
the club with our big hair and realised that we had to put up with Techno music til the RNB room opened at 1am. Bugger. It
was so painful listening to noisy racket of techno music and it was heaven for me and Kath when the RNB room finally opened.
The girls went off, we danced all night to Fatman Scoop and the likes, it was great! They also had these tv screens showing
japanese game shows which kinda wrecked the mood but was entertaining nonetheless. Jackie tried to teach Trang and I how to
rave but we were hopeless. We also bumped into quite a few ppl we know. The night finally ended around 4am and everyone was
kinda in the twilight zone by then.
13/03/04 Caught up with Thuha, Ak, Steph T, Tina, Martin and Tram for dinner at this Pho place in the city,
and no, its not the one where Bill Clinton had two bowls, its the one further down hehe. After a full dinner we went to eat
some more at the jap pancake place and by that time we stuffed ourselves to da max. But did we stop eating? No way! Then we
all went to visit Sylv and Liz at their work place. We scabbed free sushi from Sylv, thanks babe, and sipped Lizzies personally
made strawberry drink. To cap the night off we also nibbled on Tram's Sakata crackers. By that time everyone was fully stuffed and
had tummy ache so we all went home to sleep.
12/03/04 Went to play daytona and stuff with some friends in the city. This reminds
me of New Years where my whole family including mum, lil sister, dad, uncle and aunties went to Whitehouse etc to muck
around before eating dinner in chinatown. Mum tried to play that drum game and she failed after 10 seconds. She got frustrated
and kept trying to pass first stage but she was just hitting the sticks everywhere. My little sister was entranced
by the colourful lights and loud noise of Time Crisis. Uncle got addicted to this aircraft game and wouldnt leave for ages.
Ah, those good old days.
6/03/04 Kellie's bday at St Kilda. Great fun, heaps
of food and there was this cute lil dog that kept chasing our balls.
5/03/04 Dragged Trang and Huu to a VSA meeting. Saw Christina,
Lucia and Boby there so hopped in the car with them while waiting for the others to rock up.Then we all went to Loco at HP
to drink coffee and talk about starting up the RMIT committee again. Trang is running for vicepresidency and i wanna
be the secretary, hopefully we'll win any mini election with our charm and big hair heheh.
28/02/04 Jackie and Thang took me to one of their
mates party at the Paramount Hotel in the city. It was mostly just drinking and watching WWF wrestling on the cable, i felt
like such a guy. Left the party before any of the real action took place.
27/02/04 Trang's friend from work, Vu, took us to
meet some of his friends in the city where we had a cuppa. Then drove back to Hot Shots to play a round of pool. Bumped into old
friend Phan who works there.
26/02/04 Met up with Diem, Kath and Trang in front of RMIT. We loitered around until we sold all our ONITE tix and then
went to the Loft to boogie to some RnB music.
22/02/04 Saw Sylv working at the Sushi bar, she looked so cute! And she speaks
Jap with a british accent! Met up with Teena, Steph, Kath and Michael to go to the Tropfest film festival. The short films
were soooo funny, especially the one with the animated characters who swore alot. We got free blue fairy floss but it was
6.50 for a hot dog. Watta rippa.
21/02/04 Watched Fantasia, a Louis Koo movie, with PK, Fook and Huu. Then went
with Thu Ha, AK and Huu to play bowling at HP. Me and Thu Ha wanted the bumpers up cos we sucked so bad.
20/02/04 Orientation day at RMIT, It was so boring there was so many stairs to
walk through. Then went to eat at a Jap restaurant with Liz, Tin, Steph and Andrew.
18/02/04 Played pool again at Charltons with Kath, Michael and Trang.
16/02/04 Trang, Huu, PK, Khoa and I went to RMIT to sign up for sportsclubs. Trang and Huu
signed up for badmington and I went for tabletennis. Then we went to play Daytona where I beat Huu, yay! afterwards we all
rocked up at Hot Shots to play pool, gave me and Trang a chance to sharpen out skill so we can kik huu's ass.
14/02/04 Ahhh, the dreaded Valentines day. The heat was overbearing so I went
with Sylv, Trang, Thang, Jackie and his friend to Altona beach. We didnt bring any swimmers so us girls just went into the
water with our clothes on. Sylv got attacked with sand by the boys but unfortunately me and Trang worried about our hair getting
wet too much to help her so we just lounged on the sand watching the sand fight. We all went for a drink afterwards before
dashing back to Jackie's place to dry our clothes. Then I met up with Fook, Khoa and Huu later that nite for
a gossip session before going home.
13/02/04 Went with Trang, Peter Kuong, Roger and Huu to RMIT to investigate the
premises and check out the talent, if u know what I mean. Later that nite, Trang and I went to Matts bday and met Dino and
Rosso, the cute boys from Echuca. Dino poured beer into Matts fishtank and I wont be surprised if his goldfishes start bumping
into the walls soon. The boys invited us to Echuca for Dino's bday and I wonder how were gonna do the whole pub crawl thing
when theres only one pub in the whole town. They also told us that there are more cows up there than people. This is so gonna
be like The Simple Life, except Trang and I arent as dumb as Paris and Nicole. Hopefully.
07/02/04 Ben took Phuong and I to William, Nancy and Truongs joint bday party
at this hall. There was free lollies which was great and the music was quite good. Then Phuong and I went to Erin's house
to catch up with the aussie gang and had a good gossip session. Maleesa kindly drove us back to Phuongs house at 1 in da morning
and then we talked for most of the nite which meant that Phuong and I looked like zombies the next day.
03/02/04 Liz, Huu, Tina, Sylvia, Albert, PK and I went to Sth Yarra to shop and
then we went to eat in this cute little Happy Days style cafe in chapel St, after that it was off to Red Triangle for a game
of pool where I accidentaly bashed Albert in the head with the cue stick, sorry mate!
31/01/04 Jenny's 18th birthday. Went with Sylv in Quang and Vinh's car, we probably
drove around Albert Park 6 times before we found the others. Then met up with Matt in the city to meet up with his friends.
We all then went to Fitzroy to play pool and that was the day I became addicted to pool. Played til 2am the next day.
29/01/04 The black jack session was held at Khoa's house. The players of the
day were Sylv, Albert, Huu, Fook, Khoa and myself. Khoa won the most.
28/01/04 First day of driving lessons. Man I already can tell that I love to
speed and my dream car is a Supra so I can rev down the highway at 170 an hour. I also must remember to get hospital insurance.
27/01/04 Went to trang's house to play blackjack with Trang, Hoang, Huu, Peter
Kuong, Michael and Ton. PK lost 15 buckaroos, and I only lost 3. The big winners of the day was Trang and Michael. Huu was
pissed off cos there was no girls in his course at Swinburne. Lucky he was able to transfer into RMIT later on. Ton didn't
realise that he starts school in 5 days, he thought he had a few months left of holidays, how cute lol.
24/01/04 Festival at Docklands. Had a rematch of dodgem cars and thankgod liz
picked a car that worked this time. Played a roses game where Thu Ha dared us girls to go give roses to guys. Sylv ran
up to this guy and gave him a rose and apparently he was quite cute! Huu played the chuck the tennis ball at the
cans game and lost quite badly.
23/01/04 Went to eat Maccas with Ben and then went to Eira's birthday with Liz
and Teena. All the teachers were there and there was no place to hide but it was alrite, they were quite cool.
21/01/02 Matt took me and Vu to the temple to pray.
20/01/04 Went job hunting with Sylv, Liz, Huu and Ben. No luck.
17/01/04 Tuan gave me and Vu a lift to the Richmond TET festival. Then
i met up with Liz, Tina, Thu Ha, AK, Trang and Hoang. Lizzie, Thu Ha, Teenos and I then raced to the dodgem cars. Liz and
I were competing against Thu Ha and Tina and bloody Liz had to go and pick a car that didnt work lolz. hence, we ended up
being rammed from all angles. Today was also the day we get our uni results. Tina and I went to the Fed Square to get the
newspaper and we were both so nervous although the cute TV reporter guy got me distracted for a while. I got into RMIT and
Tina got into Melb Uni and we were both pretty relieved!
15/01/04 went to watch Honey with the girls, Jessica Albia is soooo pretty and
her clothes are mad. Then Lizzie, Huu and myself hopped on the bus to Crown casino to eat some icecream. Unfortunately as
Huu was about to bite into his icecream, the whole chunk fell off the cone and he only ended up eating the cone. Me and Liz
nearly fell off our chairs laughing. We were like monkeys while Huu looked at his empty cone in disbelief. Poor fella.
10/01/2004 went to Khoas house for his 18th and played darts. Huu cut his hair
finally and dyed it purple, what a rebel. Then went to Thuy Le's 18th later that day to scab some lunch and my god, there
was so much springrolls at that party. After that went to Catherines 18th and the highlight was watching caths dad drink his
first shottie. Matt and Vu became tomato faced after a few shots.
09/01/2004 watched Chinese movie Anna in Kungfuland with Matty boy and that was
hilarious, made me wanna go sign up for kung fu classes so i can kick ppls ass right there and then! after that we trudged
to crowns to meet up with other ppls, then went to Flirtasia with Trang and Vu. it was a slow nite at da club so Minh and
Tuan drove us home. I wore my dancing shoes for nothing:(
07/01/2004 Tuan's 21st bday. It was held at this restaurant in Brunswick and
the food was fab!
28/12/03 Went to see Lord of the Rings with Sammy. Legolas was undoubtedly the
hottest guy in the movie and what a good tactic it was by the director to let him have that sliding down the elephant scene,
yummo! Then went with Sammy to pick up her cousin and then off we all went to Belva's 18th Birthday at Fscray park. Spent
most of the time playing soccer and poison ball.
26/12/03 Boxing day. Matt dragged me out of bed early in the morning so we could
ravage the boxing day sale. Its funny cos I ended up only buying stuff that weren't on sale.
25/12/2003 Christmas day. Trang took me and Vu to her friend's party. We got picked up at Fscray
by a roaring Supra driven by a dude called Tuan who made two trips to get the gang back to his place. Me and Trang helped
made the springrolls which turned out pretty sloppy but everyone said it was nice anyway. Then later the whole group went
to St Kilda with the intention of watching the sun set, but by the time we got there the stars were out. Damn. Next destination.
Battling the wind we drove back to Crown casino and bummed around til 4am in the morning. What a memorable christmas day.

What a stinkin hot day. I think the heat got to most people, especially Lizzie who had a brain meltdown
in Chem class and spent it bugging me with her evil laugh and endless babble hehehe. The asian festival at Docklands this
year was mad stuff. Nicky, Sammy, Simon and I had a taste of jibby asian cuisine and went wild with the water pistols. There
was around 17 of us in the group and yeah, we all just went crazy on the jumping castle and I was lucky enough to be with
Kathleen on da dodgem cars, she just went mad bumping into everyone lolz. I didn't go on any of da wild rides cos it was too
cold and i was too chicken. Oh and Liz's bro Andrew was voted by SBS radio as the Vietnamese person of the year or something,
so congratulations mate! Yesterday was Valentine's day. I gave Lizzie a rose made out of red tissue and handed out candies
to all da peeps. It was such a sad day. The only valentine gift i received was when my little baby sister picked up a dead
moth and handed it to me. I freaked out at first but she looked so innocent. Today she gave me a dead fly. Gross, but sweet.
There's so much homework in Year 11, I think I'm gonna have to move to Florida and chill out with the oldies before I become
mental with stress. Actually, Sammy should take a vacation cos she's gonna be really worn down after a few maths classes with
me and Tina. All we do is nag her constantly and it takes me an hour or so to process her explanation of one sum. I also
found out about Lena's obession. If anyone dares mention the word Harry Potter around her or even the word Harry, I will kick
your ass cos she won't stop talking about the little bugger. Any respect I have for Potter is now gone after hearing so much
about him from Lena, heehee. She's so funny sometimes. Well tomorrow there is a big celebration in Chinatown which Marcela
and I will probably attend. So if you know what we look like and happen to spot us, come say g'day!

Round up cos da circus is coming to town! Yep folks, today I had my first taste of Joseph Ashtons Circus,
the big top production that settled near Sunshine Megaplex. I went with Jess D. and her family, thanks so much for shouting
me da tickets by the way! Well what can I say? I loved it to da max! The clowns were hilarious, a bit lame sometimes, but
still funny. The ponies were adorable, the two juggling and spinning kids were fantastic, the acrobats waz awesome and there
was a major perve factor too lolz. Perfect day out.

Had an interview with the manager of KFC today. I was totally freaking out cos this would be like, the
make it or break it part of my job hunt. I had to fill out this long questionnaire while sitting in the middle of the food
court and while the manager watched on. Some of the questions involved mathematics and I was wigging cos I didnt have a calculator
and my brain wasnt functioning properly. Then he started to ask questions about skool, working hours, work experience and
stuff like that. Then suddenly he said: look behind you at the KFC register and tell me why do you see yourself working there.
All I could think of was cos the food was nice. But luckily, I pulled myself together and answered reasonably well. After
a bit more of chit-chat, I was able to go cos there was 3 more people waiting to be interviewed. Man, that was like the scariest
experience, even more scary than when I had to go on the flying fox at camp. I dont think I will get the job cos Im just naturally
pessimistic about things, but lets see what happens.
